Bayan holds an MSc in Neurobiology with Summa Cum Laude distinction from the University of Haifa. Her academic background encompasses neurodevelopmental mechanisms, whole-brain functional mapping, and multi-modal neuroscience methodologies- including fMRI, electroencephalography (EEG), fiber-photometry, and immunohistochemistry.

As a Research Assistant at the Integrative Pain Laboratory, Bayan applies her expertise to support ongoing projects investigating chronic pain, interoception, and mind-body interactions in chronic pain recovery.
